Ingredients:
Duncan Hines Butter Golden Cake Mix
Club Soda

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven according to package directions.
  2. Line muffin pan with liners for best results.
  3. Omit all additions called for on the back of the cake mix box
  4. In mixer bowl add 12 ounces of club soda to the cake mix. Beat for two minutes as you normally would for the cake mix.
  5. Bake as directed on the back of the box for cupcakes.
  6. Cool on wire rack.
 Note: these cupcakes will rise as normal, but closer to the time they are finished baking the centers will slightly fall. I tried different cake mixes and various amounts of club soda and this happened every time.
Allergy Note: This cake mix has traces of soy. The only cake mix I could find that was also soy free was by Dr. Oetker but these did not work well with the club soda.
